Hengyang Guoneng Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd. is located in Hengyang, a renowned industrial city in China and the hometown of Cai Lun. The company is situated beside the picturesque Xiangjiang River and near the first peak of Hengshan Mountain, known as the "Southern Mountain of the Five Sacred Mountains."
As a key industrial base for power transmission equipment under the national "Torch Plan," Hengyang is home to tens of thousands of industrial workers engaged in the production of such equipment. Drawing on the innovative spirit of its predecessors, the company is committed to the research, development, and manufacturing of power transmission equipment.
Established in 2008, Hengyang Guoneng Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd. inherited the "Henghu" brand, technology, and talent from the former Hengyang Instrument Transformer Factory. Focusing on the power industry, the company aims to become a world-renowned integrated power supply solution provider. In 2020, it fully undertook the design and manufacturing of transformers from Hengyang Nanfang Instrument Transformer Co., Ltd. and has since worked to build a manufacturing base and testing center for electric power equipment. In June 2021, Hengyang Nanfang Instrument Transformer Co., Ltd. was officially renamed Hengyang Guoneng Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd.
The original Hengyang Instrument Transformer Factory was founded in 1964 and underwent restructuring in 2002 after over 30 years of development. Hengyang Nanfang Instrument Transformer Co., Ltd. continued the transformer industry's legacy in Hengyang and, after more than 20 years of dedicated effort, assembled a team of experienced R&D professionals and skilled technicians. It has since become a leading enterprise in the design, manufacturing, and sales of transformers. The company has independently developed over 60 new products and obtained 9 patents, all with independent intellectual property rights. Seven of its flagship products have been recognized as famous brands in Hunan Province.
The company primarily produces oil-immersed, SF6 gas-insulated, and epoxy resin-cast current and voltage transformers up to 550KV, as well as GIS-specific current and voltage transformers, GIS high-voltage bushings, and transformer high-voltage bushings.
Located in the Baishazhou Industrial Park within Hengyang National Economic and Technological Development Zone, the company occupies a total area of 46,000 square meters with a building area of 31,396 square meters. Equipped with advanced production facilities tailored to manufacturing processes, the company possesses a 1500KV cascaded test transformer (corona-free), a 3600KV impulse voltage generator, and a complete set of testing equipment. With sound management, advanced technology, stringent manufacturing processes, and sophisticated testing capabilities, the company has an annual production capacity of 50,000 units of 10KV to 550KV current and voltage transformers.
